We at FunnyOldGame.com know all about the onerous task of ensuring a full compliment of players for a match. We will automate the process of deciding who should be invited and take care of the actual invitation/acceptance process. Some advantages of this are:

• No text messaging for you, removing personal cost.
• Player selection is fair and automated eliminating player disgruntlement.
• Outreach to a wider pool of players when you can't get enough players in your own pool.

Whilst many of the mundane tasks are automated; you, as the administrator will still have general control over your player pool.

To get things setup, carry out the following steps. Printable version

1. Select "Sign-up" from the home page and enter your details.
2. When logged in select "Tools" and "Create a new series".
3. Enter the details of your series. (These can be amended later)The series is not yet activated; this is to allow time for all the players to join your series.
4. Invite your player pool to join the series. This can be done in a number of ways:
   • a) Forward the series keyword by email or text message
   • b) Enter email addresses on the "Invite Players" page.
   • c) Enter existing member ids on the "Invite Players" page.                       (for b and c select "Invite Players" button on the "View Players" page        for your series)
5. Select "Activate" button on the "View Series" page.

That's it!

Here are some useful tips:

• Inform your players that FunnyOldGame membership is totally free and invitations by email are completely free. There is a small fee for text message invites, but this is an optional feature.
• To encourage your players to sign-up you should inform them that they won't get a game if they don't.
• If any player objects to signing-up because they won't have regular access to internet or text then you can accept/decline match invites on their behalf as an administrator. In fact as an administrator you can accept/decline invites on behalf of any player.
